Description

The Kennedy Half Dollar was created as a memorial to the 35th President following his assassination. While early versions (1964) were 90% silver and subsequent versions (1965-1970) were 40% silver, this 1980 specimen is comprised of a base metal copper-nickel clad composition characteristic of the era.
